My interest in animals started at a young age with family pets and was fueled throughout high school by my work with a veterinarian in my hometown of Kahului, Hawaii. After high school, I left Hawaii to attend the University of Northern Colorado, eager to pursue my education and new experiences (i.e. SNOW!!) I attended veterinary school at Colorado State University, and graduated in 2009. From there I traveled even further north, starting my career at a busy small animal clinic in Great Falls.  Two years later, love brought me to Missoula, where I did relief work for several clinics in the area before joining the team at Missoula Veterinary Clinic.  

My professional interests include soft tissue surgery, feline medicine and ultrasonography, and I enjoy mentoring students interested in veterinary medicine. I love living in Missoula with my husband Aaron, three cats and a dog . In my free time I enjoy hiking, being with family and friends, teaching my (not-so-old) dog new tricks, reading, skiing, playing the ukulele and volleyball.
