Raised primarily in eastern Washington, I fell in love with Missoula after graduating from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. I grew up riding horses, competing in three-day events, and was heavily involved in leadership organizations such as 4H and Pony Club. While I always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, the surprise came when I found my place, not with horses, but with smaller creatures. Originally starting in small animal medicine as a veterinary assistant at our local emergency practice, I continue to enjoy working to maintain the health and wellness of our valued cat and dog family members. I became certified in veterinary acupuncture 2018, I hope to continue forward with a whole body approach to wellness in the future. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family; hiking, relaxing in a hammock while my husband fly fishes, and enjoying the outdoors with our dogs.
