I was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. I obtained my Bachelor of Animal Science from Montana State University in 2015, and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2019. I have always had a love for horses which guided me early in my career. After graduation I completed two equine/large animal internships, one in California and one at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. I then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and worked at an equine referral hospital. The desert life proved to be too much and I was ready to move back home to Montana. I then took a job in the bitterroot working with large animals. My husband and I were blessed with our first child and I made the difficult decision to switch from equine medicine to small animal medicine. Horses will always have a soft spot in my heart (and now hopefully I can own some!)

In my free time I enjoy spending time with family (including my three miniature dachshunds), being outdoors and relaxing at Flathead lake.
